Lucrum Holdings acting as Licet Developments in conjunction with ARES, secured planning consent to develop the 2 acre NCP Exeter Road car park in the town centre adjacent to the listed Lower Gardens.
The £30m construction phase, delivered by Vinci Construction UK incorporates a new 10 screen Odeon Multiplex,
12 restaurants and 2 family entertainment units offering 70,000sqft of A3/D2 uses over two levels and a 175 space basement car park. The scheme was forward funded by Legal & General and is held in their Leisure Fund. Alongside Odeon units were taken by amongst others, The Real Greek, Five Guys, Chiquitos, Nando’s, Ask Italian, Prezzo, Pizza Express, TGI Fridays and Adventure Leisure.
Construction was completed in October 2016 on time and on budget and the Odeon cinema is amongst the top performing multiplexes in the UK.
